| September 5, 2006 | BEGINNING OF OFFICIAL ELECTION PERIOD 2006 Directors Election officially called and nomination of candidates begins. MNP Toll Free Information Line activated (1-800-446-0890). MNP/CWB Election Website activated (www.cwbelection.com) |
| September 8, 2006 | Preliminary Voters list available to all registered candidates on CD ROM, and applicable district lists available for viewing in all Meyers Norris Penny offices Voter Eligibility Confirmation to be mailed to each actual producer in districts 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 to confirm voter eligibility. District Verification to be mailed to each NEW producer in districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 to confirm that they are registered in a non-voting district |
| October 13, 2006 | Deadline for permit related changes to the Voters List |
| October 23, 2006 @ 6:00 pm CT | Close of nominations, and announcement of slate of candidates to follow within 48 hours (once all nominations have been validated) |
| October 30, 2006 | Voter’s packages to be mailed to each eligible voter. |
| November 17, 2006 @ 12:00 midnight CT | Deadline for receipt of Statutory Declarations by Election Co-ordinator |
| December 1, 2006 | END OF OFFICIAL ELECTION PERIOD 12:00 midnight Postmark deadline for completed ballots. |
| December 9 – 10, 2006 | Ballots tabulated, and results announced (pending need for manual recount) |
| December 11, 2006 | Provision for manual recount if necessary. |
| December 31, 2006 | Elected Directors take office |
| February 5, 2007 @ 5:00 pm CT | Deadline for submission of candidates election expense report to election co-ordinator. |
